From first conversation to finished record, here’s how we work together.

Planning

We start with the song, not the gear. We talk through arrangement, instrumentation, and the feeling you’re going for — and build a plan so the studio time is spent creating, not figuring things out. We review the lyrics, tempo, and overall feel and decide what recording method will bring about the result we want.

Creation

Tracking, recording, and mixing — where the song actually comes to life. This will be collaborative and iterative, whether you are in person or remote. As things are added you get to approve each checkpoint along the way.

We set up you for success in performance, or bring in the right musicians to do it right for you. We will work efficiently, making decisions and moving on, but still allowing for creative ideas and experiments.

The mix will be just as efficient since we have worked on the song together and know where things need to be.

Release

Before your song goes out into the world, we talk through mastering, release strategy, and what to do with it once it’s live — so finishing the recording isn’t the finish line.
